Description

Create a vibrant and cheerful rainbow pencil suncatcher that brightens up any classroom window with colorful patterns and DIY creativity.


Materials

  • Clear contact paper
  • Colorful tissue paper (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Template for pencil shape
  • Ribbon or string for hanging


Instructions

  1. Prepare your template by drawing a pencil shape on a piece of paper.
  2. Cut out a piece of clear contact paper that matches the size of your pencil template.
  3. Add colorful tissue paper by cutting or tearing small shapes and placing them on the sticky side of the contact paper.
  4. Seal it up by cutting another piece of clear contact paper and placing it over the tissue paper layer.
  5. Cut out the pencil shape, trimming around the edges.
  6. Make a hanging loop using a hole punch or a small slit at the top of your suncatcher.
  7. Display your craft by hanging the suncatcher in a sunny window.
