Description

Create a vibrant Rainbow-Themed Ghost Wreath using cupcake liners, perfect for adding colorful decor during the spooky season.

Materials

  • Colorful cupcake liners in various sizes
  • A foam wreath base or cardboard cutout
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • Scissors
  • Black construction paper (for ghost eyes)
  • Optional: ribbon for hanging

Instructions

  1. Prep your base: If you’re using a cardboard cutout, ensure it’s the desired wreath shape. If using a foam base, you can skip this step.
  2. Cut cupcake liners: Cut each cupcake liner into quarters to make them easier to shape and glue down.
  3. Glue the cupcake liners: Begin gluing the cut cupcake liner pieces onto your wreath base, starting from the outer edge and working your way inward, alternating colors to create a rainbow effect.
  4. Shape your ghosts: As you near the center, gather some cupcake liners into ghostly shapes or bunch them together to add dimension.
  5. Add eyes: Cut small circles from the black construction paper and glue them onto the cupcake liner ghosts to create eyes.
  6. Finishing touches: Attach a ribbon at the top for hanging if desired, and let everything dry completely.

Notes

This project is great for families. Pre-cut liners for younger children and supervise glue gun use. Mix and match colors for a unique look.
