Description

A fun and engaging DIY project where kids use corks and paint to create colorful apple prints.


Materials

  • Corks (cut in half for easy stamping)
  • Non-toxic paint in various colors
  • Thicker cardstock paper
  • Paintbrush
  • Paper plates or trays for paint
  • Optional: green paper for leaf decoration


Instructions

  1. Prepare the corks by cutting them in half to create a flat stamping surface.
  2. Set up your workspace with paper plates or trays filled with various paint colors.
  3. Using a paintbrush, apply a vibrant layer of paint to the flat side of a cork.
  4. Press the painted cork onto the paper to create apple shapes.
  5. Cut out leaf shapes from green paper and glue them onto the stamped apples once dry.
  6. Allow the artwork to dry fully before displaying it.
